The U.S. Department of Justice published revised final regulations implementing the Americans with Disabilities Act for Title II entities (state and local government services) on September 15, 2010.  These requirements, or rules, clarify and refine issues that have arisen over the past 20 years and contain new and updated policy and building standard requirements including the 2010 ADA Standards.  After March 15, 2012, the 2010 ADA Standards officially replace the previous 1991 ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) standards.
